Harlem Renaissance Field Trips Thurs. 4-28-11

As part of our immersion into the Harlem Renaissance Unit, we will offer a few opportunities to trip through Harlem along the 2 and 3 Train lines and into Spanish Harlem as well as getting a better feel of other influential people and movements that altered the face of NYC and the world.




You never know what you'll find—live jammers at 449 LA, not far from Silvia's






Part of your tours will ask you to notice and document the different types of architecture, door fronts, awnings, balconies and foliagegardens or greenery.


Look for updates of additional trips to Spanish Harlem, the second or third week in May
